Explore every corner carefully, check rooms, closets, and the entire environment. Even seemingly irrelevant items can yield useful objects (flashlight, knives, journals). These items can change important events.
Listen to the characters and pay attention to their dialogue; the game gives clues about what to do or what to avoid depending on what the characters say— don't ignore their warnings!
Manage your emotions well ; don't always rush forward. Sometimes waiting or taking a step back prevents dangerous situations or bad decisions.
Small decisions matter a lot ; your choices (even those that seem insignificant) can change who lives or dies later on. Read the options carefully and think about how they will affect your relationships.
Pay close attention to the QTEs (Quick Time Events); failing one could have tragic consequences. Stay calm, carefully observe the buttons that appear, and respond quickly.
